The elder blooms every year during the peak of spring, heralding summer with natural fireworks. Throughout the Netherlands, the beautiful umbels full of fragrant, white flowers explode. Quickly the fruit bearers set out to pick the generous elder blossoms. From Mother Earth you may take, but you must also give! So that the elder continues to grace our landscape with its flower parade, we plant new elder bushes every year. That is the Blossom Power philosophy. From the annual harvest the fruit growers make this fresh spring syrup - with saved lime peel for a hint of bitterness. Let blossom intoxicate you: summer is coming! *Flower bushes grow and bloom, but not as fast as Roze Bunker grows and blooms! We will soon (starting in Dec/Jan) have to do without Blossom Power for a while. In anticipation of a flowery spring where we will be happy to toast Blossom Power together again!
